Special thanks to the Mayor of Clinton, Mr. Lew Starling, for
officially proclaiming September 11,2010 "Uniform Services and
Appreciation Day" to honor our celebration.
The event is being organized to create a family friendly enviroment
that salutes our first responders, showcases area businesses that
support the community that offer a wide array of products and
services to enhance awareness of the resources available, and to
promote community saftey and preparedness. Live entertainment
will be provided by area performers including a special appearance
by R&B star Darien Brockington. 107 Kiss FM radio personalities Jae
McKrae will broadcast the "House Party" live at our event from 7pm
to 9pm and Tamlin Henry will also be on location from 5pm to 6pm
broadcasting the show "Community Forum." Join us at this event
and enjoy music, live entertainment, food and games for kids.
Proceeds will benefit the City of Clinton "Toys for Tots" program.

Mr. Hicks Provides Access Ramp for Disabled Senior
Llew Hicks,Founder and CEO of Progressive Health Care & Counseling Services, paid for the construction costs and labor to build a wheel chair access ramp for an elderly woman in our community earlier this year.
When Mr. Hicks was asked what inspires him to get involved in projects like this he said, "When I see that things need to be done in our community, the first thing I focus on is how can we get immediate results in the most efficient manner. People in our community are in need of solutions immediately, which means we must have confidence in our own ability to facilitate change."
PCCA Kids Take Field Trip To
Beasly Broadcasting
On August 19th, 2010 Progressive Child Care Academy had an opportunity to make a few kids from the Sampson county community, dream come true.
Many of the kids dream of becoming a singer, hip hop artist, or a television anchor, Ten kids from Progressive Child Care Academy had an opportunity to visit Beasley Broadcasting, the parent company of (Foxy, Kiss.The Drive, WKML, WAZZ and WTEL ).
Our kids were given a tour of the facilities by Ms. Mandy Pittman. the Event Coordinator for the Broadcast Company. They were also given the opportunity to be on the air with radio personality Jane Dough. This was memorable moment in the eye of a child. Progressive would like to thank Beasly Broadcasting and “Through the fire Media” for helping to make our feild trip a success.
